Last week I reported a loss against Vale do Lobo when we played them at their home course. Today we played them on our home course and beat them 3 to 2!

 

They are already clear to move up one division as they will be second after Alto in third division so it was a very good achievement to beat them.

Thanks team  for a great performance today.

 

 

Now we "only" have to beat Levante on their home turf with 3,5 to 1,5, no sweat. We will play them on the 8 of October at Quinta da Cima and most of our team that will play them there will go there to practice on the 7'th, we will leave no stone untouched to bring us to Division 2 next year. Quinta da Cima has a stunning 1100 meter advantage for Ladies comparing Red tee to Yellow tee, so please Ladies step up and help us bring this to a happy ending to this year's season.

 

What ever happens I have been proud leading or team this year and am sure that the improvements we made this year will continue next year under Julians competent leadership. Many more talented players, Ladies and Men have joined the club and I hope they will take the same pride as I to represent the Club in competetition with the other Algarve Golf Clubs.
