The golf year draws to a close. At the club's Christmas Dinner a number of winners of recent competitions were presented with their prizes.

Arguably the most prestigious prize is the "Order of Merit". This is awarded for the most consistent golf with points being allocated for results at the club's Majors, the Monthly Medal and Monthly Stableford.

This year's winner was our Club Captain Robert Haller.

Second came Villematti Nurmi with our Vice Captain Julian Lyons coming third.

Also awarded were the prizes for the Arie van den Brink Trophy, the Knock Out Championship, the Phoenix Trophy and the Cox Trophy, which is played in honour of our long term President Don Cox.

The Christmas Dinner with good food and music was enjoyed by everyone. A special thanks to Alan Winstanley for his outstanding performance as Competition Secretary and Sue Hagland for organising the presentation dinners during the course of the year.
