On Saturday 6th December we held our annual Presentation Dinner at the Monte de Mar Restaurant in Carvoeiro. We had a great attendance of 49 members and guests and following the reception in the main bar we all headed into the restaurant to start the night's festivities. The wine, beer and soft drinks flowed steadily throughout the night and the food was excellent.  Jackson Rivers who was due to be the evening entertainment unfortunately had to cancel due to illness, but he did organise the excellent Althea Browne as his replacement.  Many thanks to Clementina and her very attentive staff for looking after us so well. Overall the evening was yet again another memorable SICG experience and our special thanks go to the event's group coordinated by Margot and ably assisted by Yvonne. Following the meal the Captain Geoff Nevin welcomed everyone and thank all the members for supporting the Christmas Hamper Ballot. The Captain then asked the Competitions Secretary and Vice Captain Rikki Huddleston to announce the recipients of the SICG prizes.

The party atmosphere continued well into the night as Althea delivered some fantastic music. Many thanks to Stu Piper for the photographs and many congratulations to all the prize-winners. A very successful evening was enjoyed by all.
