Once again we have come into the festive season and to the SICG end of year presentations and dinner.

A large group of SICG members gathered together in Brasserie Rosal for the annual Christmas Dinner and to congratulate the winners of The Cox, The Phoenix The Arie van den Brink, The Knock Out Trophies and the Order of Merit Trophies from the competitions played out during the year.

Captain Tom welcomed everyone and outlined the running order and the prize giving for the evening.

Members took their places for dinner and around the many tables there was great camaraderie, with story telling about missed putts, long drives magical chips onto the green with good music in the background  and some fine food served up by the attentive staff.

After dinner, Captain Tom took to the  floor to start the prize giving and he was ably assisted by President Tom, Alan and Frank.

Players came centre stage to accept their prizes and each gave short speeches complementing the course and their fellow golfers.

Graham was presented with his prize and accepted it to the cheers from the group of speech speech and he rose to the challenge.

The night was a great success and thanks as always to Sue for all her work in organising the event.
